Abandoned by his mother at the tender age of 10, Shibuya Kazuaki (Kazu) is left to grow into manhood without parental guidance. It's not difficult being Kazu after all, he has a genius-level IQ and 3 years worth of life experience under his belt. What may be more challenging is growing up while parents are still alive. There are many great things about being an only child, sure there are annoyances too but thats part of being so darn special! Theres the luxury of having the whole place to yourself when you get older, not having to share anything with your friends thats yours and so on. Kazu really has it made, not only is he a genius but he's also had access to the internet from his tender age. Thats right, Kazu had been using the internet from the ripe old age of 3 onwards. At 10 years of age whats a growing boy to do? Well socialise of course, so naturally Kazu created a whole network of online friends and became a member on every virtual world known to man! Except for one small thing, despite being so young Kazu was constantly late for school which is why his mother decided to take away his internet privileges after issuing him two warnings. In a fit of rage Kazu threw his laptop out the window and sent it to his favorite place, the dump. It seems that even geniuses get upset from time to time. Unbeknownst to him a young boy a few years younger than himself witnessed the event and took it upon himself to bring Kazu's beloved laptop back... A few days have passed since Kazu threw his laptop out the window. But instead of being rewarded for being so responsible Yoshitaka was scolded by his mother for getting involved with a stranger's problem. Ignoring her mothers' warning he instead decided to head over to the dump and take action. With a little bit of luck he manages to find the laptop and in a fit of excitement throws it straight in a nearby dustbin. But when he returns to his house he realises that theres been a change in his everyday routine, from hearing Kazu's crying no one is there. However when Yoshitaka lifts the lid on the dustbin he is met with one very large surprise. Inside lies Kazu's beloved laptop! Just as Yoshitaka's eyes begin to glaze over with excitement at his discovery nothing could prepare him for what was about to hit him... for a quick second a young boy is standing in the room behind him. A boy with a long scar across his eye and an unusually large head. The momentary shock of that encounter is enough for Yoshitaka to completely forget about the laptop he found in the dustbin as well as the fact that his family has gone missing. The next day as usual Yoshitaka heads off to school as per usual but he's not alone, taking up his usual position with Kazu by his side is a young boy with a scar across his eye. It looks like this is going to become quite the interesting year for Yoshitaka.
